Fiji 7s team adapt well in Las Vegas

The Fiji Airways men’s 7s coach Gareth Baber believes the five day camp at the University of Arizona has been a fruitful one.

Baber says the players have acclimatized well and are looking forward to the Las Vegas 7s.

“The big thing is obviously the climate and the altitude very similar to hear so that’s why we chose Arizona University and I think we benefited a lot and prepares us well coming into the tournament this weekend.”

Meanwhile, Fiji begins its campaign in the Las Vegas tournament against Russia at 12.06pm on Saturday.

They then play France at 3.07pm and faces Kenya in their last pool match at 8.36am on Sunday.

The quarterfinal kicks off at 1.26pm on Sunday, while the semi-final begins at 9.12am next Monday and the final is secluded for 12.30pm.
