Fiji 7s gears up for World Cup

Fiji 7s coach Gareth Baber believes he has a fair idea about how their opponent will come out in their opening match of the World Cup next weekend.

Baber says they have studied their opponents and are ready to put their preparation in action when they run onto the field.

“We really need to look at how we should control the ball and we need to play our style of game. We need to create an area where we can take charge of the ball and make lesser mistake.”

Meanwhile, the Fiji 7s team is currently camping in Utah and will move to San Francisco next Monday.

The Fiji 7s team will play the winner of the Uruguay vs Japan game as its first World Cup match next Saturday.

The three day tournament ends the following Monday in San Francisco in USA.
