Fatigue affects Buadromo at World Championships

August 5, 2015 12:11 am

Fiji swimmer Matelita Buadromo has finished her 200 metres freestyle race in a time of 2 minutes 09.07 seconds at the 16th FINA World Championships, in Kazan.

Having just finished competing at the Pacific Games last month in Papua New Guinea, Buadromo’s time was the eight fastest.

This was 1.3 seconds outside her personal best of 2 mins 07.77 seconds set last year.

Buadromo says fatigue was a reason for her time as the first 100m felt great and the third length was when she started feeling fatigue but pushed through.

She takes to the pool again later tonight in the 100m Freestyle.
