The East Selection Rugby League side is anticipating a fierce island battle against Tonga next month.

The Semisi Tora-led side contains the majority of the Fiji Under-18 squad that recently toured Australia, along with veterans Osea Sadrau, Semi Kunatani and Jone Wesele.

Hard-running forward Wesele says it will be a good experience for the junior reps in the team.

“Yes we know very well, it’s a Pacific rivalry. It’s going to be a typical tough game, especially for the young and upcoming players.”

The East Selection side will take on Tonga at Albert Park in Suva on June 16th.
The Tongans will then take on the West Selection side on June 20th at Lawaqa Park in Sigatoka.
