Dragons aim for consistency

The Westfield Dragons are confident of a strong finish at their inaugural sevens tournament, next month.

The team defeated First Landing 24-19 at the Dui-Yasana tournament in Lautoka, last week.

President, Ratu Ponijese Rayasi says coaches have been working closely with the players in maintaining a consistence performance.

“Last week we had the tournament in Lautoka which is the Veiyasana. We started really well and we have been preparing for the past two months with our head coach, Mr Epeli Lagiloa.”

The Westfield Dragons Mini 7s tournament will be held at Prince Charles Park in Nadi on the 19th of next month.

The winner will automatically qualify for the Coral Coast 7s at Lawaqa Park in January next year.
