Civic Football Club has taken out this year’s Suva Football Association local league title.

This after the team beat Bureta 4-3 on penalty kicks in the final yesterday.

Both teams were locked at nil-all after full time.

Civic missed numerous opportunities in normal time as forwards, Napolioni Qasevakatini, Inia Boko, Pita Rabo and Emori Ragata tried hard but couldn’t find the back of the net.

Both clubs have now qualified for the NCC preliminary playoffs.

The playoffs will be held from the 6th to the 7th of December.
