The Fiji Car Club will hold its final event of the year next Sunday.

Club Vice-President, Sandeep Prakash says, to give something back to its members, the Car Club for the first time are holding the quarter-mile drag race and the car show together.

The drag race is where the members hit the track while in the car show, drivers will showcase their modified vehicles.

“We will be organizing the drags and car show together. This has never been done in previous occasions and it is something that we will be trying out. We are expecting a huge crowd this time because it is the last race of the year and what’s all left for the year will be given in by the racers next week.”

The races begin at 11am at the Nanuku Airstrip in Pacific Harbour.
