Digicel Fiji Sevens utility, Levani Botia has been placed in the sidelines for the rest of the week.

Botia aggravated an old knee injury and team physio, William Kwoong has directed complete rest until the weekend.

Head coach, Alifereti Dere says they will allow Botia the time to recover in time for scrimmages scheduled on Friday.

Dere and his assistant, Timoci Wainiqolo will announce their 16-member squad on Saturday.

The final 12 will be named next week – a captain still yet to be identified.
