Athletes who miss out on selections to the 2019 Pacific Games can contest the decision if they feel they have met all the selection criteria.
According to FASANOC the selection criteria has to be clear for all athletes who are vying for a sport in the team.
FASANOC Chief Executive Lorraine Mar says athletes will have 48 hours to appeal for their non-selection.
“At the end of the period when it comes to the final names we have an appeal process and once we announce the final names for the team, any athlete who’s not selected can appeal for their non-selection within 48 hours.”
Fiji is expected to field over 200 athletes and officials to the 2019 Pacific Games in Samoa to participate in 25 different sports.
