Army is the first team to qualify to the finals of the Escott Shield – the oldest club rugby competition in Fiji.

Army beat Police 16-8 to edge a step closer to the finals.

Army proved to be the better team on the day.

The win also meant sweet revenge for the soldiers.

The second semi final sees Navy defeat Raiwaqa 10-3.

Earlier on in the Koroturaga Cup, newcomers Newtown beat Police Whites 10-8.

Army and Navy will meet head on next week in the finals.
