Rakiraki Village in the province of Ra is now flooded with some villagers have climbed on rooftops for their safety.

Villager, Sakiusa Kaitani villagers are now being evacuated to Rakiraki District School.

Kaitani says the area looks like an ocean and the scenario at the Penang Sugar Mill is like nothing seen before.

Meanwhile, those living in Volivoli, Rakiraki have been cut of the Rakiraki town due to major flooding.

Heavy rain continues and the whole of Rakiraki town is now affected by flood waters.
