September 19, 2015 9:00 pm

An agricultural team has left our shores for a scoping mission to America.

Acting Permanent Secretary for Agriculture Uraia Waibuta says the delegation will visit the US to explore the export commodity markets, in particular commodities including dalo, cassava, coconut, ginger, eggplant, pineapple and yaqona.

Waibuta says the visit is also to ensure the smooth progress towards achieving new market access of papaya and breadfruit into the US and to strengthen relations with our counterparts in the US Department of Agriculture.
