The Public Service Commission has appointed Inoke Wainiqolo, as the Permanent Secretary for Fisheries and Forests and Josefa Sania, as the Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sports.

The post for Fisheries and Forests was left vacant following the appointment of Viliame Naupoto as Minister for Youth and Sports.

Inoke Wainiqolo has served over 31 years with the Ministry of Fisheries and Forests.

Josefa Sania joined the public service in 1982 as a teacher with the Ministry for
Education.

He served in various schools as Head of Department and Vice Principal and was appointed on promotion as Senior Education Officer with the Ministry.

Wainiqolo and Sania are contracted for a period of three years effective from 1st of April.
