Traffic light at Cunningham intersection fixed: FRA

The traffic signal which was damaged from an accident at the Cunningham intersection is now fully operational.

The Fiji Roads Authority, acting General Manager Electrical Musheer Khan says three additional lantern poles have been installed.

He says previously, five poles were present at the site, but with the upgrade work the site has eight poles now.

Khan says three new chambers with new underground control cables have also been installed.

He also says new LED vehicular lanterns, new LED pedestrian crossing lanterns with audio tactile and new electrical switchboard has also been installed to benefit everyone.

Khan says the additional poles with LED lanterns will now provide better signal visibility to both motorists and pedestrians.
