Three men who were questioned for their alleged involvement in the death of a fifty-year-old man last week have been released.

Police say based on the outcomes of the post mortem report the investigation file will be compiled and forwarded to the DPP’s office for sanctioning.

The incident happened in Ellington, Kings Road on Friday evening.

The suspects who were intoxicated allegedly assaulted the man who was travelling to his village with his ten-year-old son.

Meanwhile the investigation into the alleged murder at Amy Street in Toorak, Suva continues.

The victim’s body in this case was found underneath a vacant house over the weekend by a man.

She has been identified as a 28-year-old from Nauluvatu village in Naitasiri.
