Syria park to be developed

Syria Park in Nausori will soon be a place of recreational activities for the people in the Rewa Delta.

Speaking at the closing ceremony of the Tebara Festival, Minister for Local Government Parveen Kumar says the park will be redeveloped, beautifying the area.

“My ministry under the Fiji first government has proposed re-development of the Syria Park and new multi-purpose sports facilities to provide the best amenities for the people of Nausori.”

Meanwhile, the Park will be built in such a way that it will be used as a recreational space for people to enjoy.
