Tailevu Provincial Council Chair Rusiate Tudravu says matters concerning the welfare of the people in the province should be dealt with as soon as possible.

While speaking at a provincial meeting in Nausori, Tudravu says officers who work at the provincial office must solve issues on the spot.

He adds they must also ensure developments are carried out well.

Tudravu says that while the provincial council will look at other areas of opportunities, for now a lot of improvement is needed in the province.

“These are the two focus areas that we are trying to work into, the developments within and also looking at the five pillars of the Itaukei affairs.”

Tudravu reiterated provincial administrators are the government arms in rural communities therefore, projects should be delivered on time.
