The Save the Children Fiji through its Feeding program has so far assisted a total of 8367 students who were affected by the floods earlier this year.

Chief Executive Officer Chandra Shekhar says while many were unable to attend school, others remained hungry for the day and were not performing well academically.

Shekhar says the students were from 90 different schools in the West.

He says this was possible through the donations received from local and international donors.
