Major road works to be conducted tonight in Nausori [Source: FRA]

The Fiji Roads Authority will be carrying out major maintenance on Main Street in Nausori Town tonight.

The work includes major pavement and drainage system upgrades as part of FRA’s Mill and Fill road resurfacing program.

This construction is planned for night works to minimize travel disruption.

As a consequence, the road will be closed from 7.30 tonight until 5.30am tomorrow.

FRA says there is readily available alternative access via the nearby side streets in Nausori Town that travelling public can use if required.

The construction program together with the installation of new storm water culverts and catch pits crossing will begin from Ross Street to Nausori Town Main Street, Kings Road.

Motorists are requested to plan their travel accordingly and use available alternative access through Gulab Nabi Road then out through Dunston Street.
