The Fiji Roads Authority has commenced rehabilitating roads affected by Tropical Cyclone Mona in the Northern Division.

This is particularly on the highway from Nabaci Village through to Savusavu town, where a number of potholes have surfaced following continuous heavy rain.

Chief Executive, Jonathan Moore says they will continue to deploy extra staff to work on affected roads in Vanua Levu.

Moore adds the patching of potholes is a temporary solution while FRA works on a permanent solution in the next 12 month.

He is urging the public, especially motorists to be patient and drive according to the current road condition.
