Police are compiling information on the 15 people arrested for protesting outside the Australian High Commission – without a permit on Wednesday.

Spokesperson Atunaisa Sokomuri says once this is done, the files will be submitted to the Office of the Director of Public Prosecution for sanctioning.

In the meantime the 15 have been questioned and released.

Those arrested were members of three non-government organizations protesting against Australia and New Zealand’s stance on climate change at the Pacific Islands Forum meeting held in Papua New Guinea earlier this month.
