It’s alleged that between 5th September and 4th of December, last year in Suva without lawful authority – Jogia offered advantage in a form of a return air ticket from Suva to Labasa and hotel accommodation amounting to $383 to Corporal Dakuitoga.

This is on account of expediting an investigation in his capacity as a police officer.

Corporal Dakuitoga is charged with one count of bribery for allegedly accepting the advantage.

ASP Savou is alleged to have abused his power of authority by committing an arbitrary act namely approving private funds from one Jogia to conduct a police investigation.

This is prejudicial to the rights of a police officer.

The three have been bailed with a bond of $1000 and sureties.

They have been ordered to surrender their travel documents and report to FICAC office on the last Friday of every month.

The case will be recalled on the 18th of this month.
