Drivers and road users are to take precaution when traveling to Sigatoka Town.

Sigatoka Police say that only four wheel drive vehicles and buses are able to cross into the town area because of the flood waters.

NDMO West confirms that Sigatoka village and Yavulo village is flooded.

Police are monitoring the movement of the vehicles and members of the public, who are travelling to Suva from Sigatoka and vice versa.

Meanwhile access on Koronivia road is limited with flooding and water levels at the Toge river rising.

The public is advised to take extra precautions and travel only where necessary.
