Police are investigating an alleged double homicide at Navetau Settlement in Vunilagi in Savusavu.

Spokesperson – Ana Naisoro says the deceased are a couple aged 60 and 54.

The incident occurred yesterday at around midnight last night.

It is believed the man stabbed his 54 year old wife before taking his own life.
