Police investigate alleged rape of infant

An investigation is underway into the alleged rape of an eight-month-old baby in Nadi.

Police Spokesperson Ana Naisoro confirms Namaka Police are investigating the case where a 12- year- old boy is alleged to have raped the infant.

It is alleged that the incident happened last Wednesday.

The suspect and the victim are related.
