Police aware of leaked documents on social media

The Fiji Police Force is concerned with police statements that have been leaked on social media in relation to the case of Lautoka businessman Rajneel Singh.

In an exclusive interview with FBC News, Acting Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho stated they are aware of documents that include Singh’s medical reports, x-ray results, medical reports and other materials being posted on social media.

Brigadier General Qiliho says this is part of the on-going investigation and is part of the complexities on Singh’s case.

“There are other things that have transpired in regards to that even targeting me as the Commissioner of Police, they’ve created a, fake Facebook account and made comments in regards to that. They’ve even tried to duplicate my email address and just inserted an extra alphabet in it. So it’s quite a complex issue and there are people out there that we would want to get to that are doing this things that have been adding to the complexity of this case involving Rajneel Singh.”

Brigadier General Qiliho adds they’re trying to get access to the ip addresses of those involved.
