Police arrests four robbery suspects

Four men allegedly involved in a series of robberies in Navua and Pacific Harbour have been arrested.

They appeared in the Navua Magistrates Court on Friday charged with aggravated burglary and theft for an alleged robbery at a villa at Pacific Harbour on July 15th.

Police Chief of Intelligence and Investigation – ACP Luke Navela says two of the accused are aged 22 while the third accused is aged 23-years-old.

All three are remanded in custody as they are being questioned in relation to other burglaries in the area.

Meanwhile a 22-year-old man has been charged separately for burglary and theft at a pastor’s house in Navua where a laptop and i-pods were stolen.

He will be produced at the Navua Magistrates Court tomorrow.
