Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has instructed RFMF engineers to begin reconstruction of educational facilities at Bukama School in Yasawa.
Bainimarama expressed concern that students who depend on the school will be affected.
Bemama village was severely affected when Tropical Cyclone Evan struck the village with several houses destroyed and vegetation seriously affected.
Bukama Primary School was also not spared.
Bainimarama says education is always government’s priority and he wants the school to be rebuilt as soon as possible.
RFMF Engineers will also build new classrooms and other facilities for the two hundred students of the school.
