Two pastors charged with rape and sexual assault offenses have been further remanded by the Suva High Court.

46-year-old Waisake Tulavu and 60-year-old Sakiusa Nakutoro appeared in court today.

It is alleged that between May and June last year the two raped three church members in Suva aged 22, 29 and 32.

Tulavu has been charged with four counts of rape and one count of sexual assault while Nakutoro has been charged with one count of rape.

The state has requested for 21 days to file information and disclosures while the defense has been directed to file a formal bail application.

The case will be recalled on 8th March for the plea.
