Online boutique ‘The Pink Window Creations’ has so far refunded the money of forty-eight of its customers.
Fiji Commerce Commission chief executive Bobby Maharaj says the company directors have been working with them.
“We have lets says been able to negotiate and mediate in refunding to more that 95% of the consumers so far and we have got a couple of pending cases and we are looking at finalizing that in a couple of days.”
The directors have been charged and the matter is before the courts.
However if the boutique refunds all the money owed, before the first hearing date, the matter could be dropped.
The Commission has received 54 complaints against the boutique but 48 have been refunded.
“The Pink Window Creations” was registered as an online boutique – selling clothes, costume jewellery, and fashionable accessories.
It came under spotlight in 2013 after the owners failed to deliver items to customers.
