Over one hundred and fifty nurses are attending the three day Fiji Nurses Christian Fellowship annual Conference in Pacific Harbour.
Director Nursing SilinaWaqa says the participants will also get added continued professional development points or CPD for their nursing license renewal.
“The nurses who will take part today will be entitled to get their six CPD points. That’s going to be accumulated towards their 20 CPD points of the nursing licensing and its renewal, and this is also part of what we do for nurses. It’s been facilitated by the Fiji College of Nursing, the Fiji Nursing Association and now the Fiji Nurses Fellowship.”
The nurses will be learning about how to become better at their jobs.
Senior academics will also address the conference on specific topics to up skill nurses.
