There is not enough digger machines in the country to build school playgrounds.
This was revealed by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama at a Talanoa session in Wainibuka Tailevu this week.
This comes after Dakuivuna Village School Manager, Jope Roko questioned the progress of their school playground which was promised by Assistant Minister for Youth and Sports Iliesa Delana during their annual prize giving in 2016.
Bainimarama says many schools in the country had requested for similar projects, however there are not enough machines to cater for this growing demand.
He says one of the Government owned machines is in Kadavu while the second one is in Gau.
The PM has assured the people of Dakuivuna that government officials will look into the matter.
