“Our safety out at sea is a collective responsibility and at this juncture, I urge members of the public to follow the safety requirements promoted by MSAF. Many a time, we hear and observe ordinary Fijians travelling without due care for safety such as the absence of life jackets on board, which is a not only a risk to the travellers but to their families as well.”

MSAF CEO John Tunidau says the decision to open an office in Taveuni stems from the demand from the public.

This is the 11th MSAF Office to be opened around the country and there are plans to open more in the immediate future.
