New equipments for divisional hospitals

Sixteen sub divisional hospitals have received new lab equipments to boost the processing of haematology, bio chemistry and micro biology.

Health spokesperson Peni Namotu says these brand new machines will also assist in better health outcomes and at the same time provide support to the public health clinical teams on the ground.

“It will mean not only better health outcomes for the sub-divisional hospitals but at the same time it will improve the services provided to the people as far as the laboratory services are concerned”.

The machines cost $2 million.
