The Coral Coast Hoteliers are working closely with the Sigatoka Town council to ensure that the Nadroga Navosa Province is plastic free by the next 18 months.

Outrigger on the Lagoon General Manager Peter Hopgood says they are on track to achieving this.

“One good thing that we have done is that we have already distributed 40,000 eco friendly plastic bags to all the students of Nadroga Navosa. And when they go out to do their shopping they take their green bags with them. And you what they are very proud of it.”

Outrigger on the Lagoon Resort has made it a policy not to have any plastic bags sold or used in the Resort.
