A military officer facing thirty-two counts of obtaining financial advantage by deception has pleaded not guilty before a General Court martial at the Queen Elizabeth barracks in Nabua this afternoon.

Staff Sergeant Iowane Naivalurua Tulele while based at the RFMF headquarters at Berkeley Crescent is alleged to have deducted around fifty-six thousand dollars from accounts of thirty-two different officers between October 8th 2015 and February 11th 2011.

The trial date has been set from November 20th to the 27th.

The matter has been adjourned to September 25th for the Prosecution and the Defence to finalize agreed facts.
