Judgement for Doctor and Pharmacist deferred

The judgement on the case involving a Doctor and a Lautoka pharmacist who are charged with corruption will now be delivered on Friday.

Nemani Baleinamana a pharmacist attendant at the Lautoka Hospital is charged with theft.

It is alleged he stole items worth over seventy three dollars from the pharmacy.

Dur Samy who is a private doctor at the Ba Medical Center is charged with receiving the stolen items.

The duo’s judgement were to be heard today however Magistrates Mosese Naivalu was not present in court.

The incident happened back in 2010 and both men are currently on bail.
