I will not rest: PM

Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has stated that he will not rest until all struggling rural communities are provided with clean drinking water.

Speaking at the opening of the Natadradave village water project, Bainimarama says every Fijian deserves to live with the comfort and happiness that only drinking water can provide.

Bainimarama says meeting the needs of all Fijians is the sacred duty and responsibility of the government.

“No family should wake up wondering where the water will come from, no family should be forced to make a long arduous journey in times of drought, and every family should know that clean water is nearby.”

As stated in the constitution, Bainimarama says they will work to steadily realise universal access to clean drinking water for our people.
