Newly appointed Fiji TV board member Shane Hussein has declined the offer.

A release from the Fiji Television board director, Iowane Naiveli stated that Hussein who is a former employee of Fiji TV and current Public Relations Manager at Fiji Airways declined the offer due to personal reasons.

Hussein’s appointment was announced last month.

Fiji TV will be appointing another independent board member in due time.

Meanwhile the company will hold its Annual General Meeting in Suva on the eighth of next month.
