Five people have been taken into police custody in the last 24 hours for allegedly drinking and driving.

Police Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says two people were arrested in the Southern Division, two in the Eastern Division and one in the Western Division.

875 drivers have been arrested and charged for drunk driving as of Friday last week.
