The FijiFirst party has begun interviewing new applicants who have shown interest in contesting the 2018 General Election under the party’s banner.

Some current Government Members’ of Parliament have re-applied and will be interviewed in a couple of weeks’ time.

Tourism Minister, Faiyaz Koya says under the current government, Fiji is travelling in the right direction.

“I think we have done a phenomenal job really taken Fiji to a new direction and I think most people in Fiji are wise and smart enough to know what’s happening.”

Koya says the economic growth in the past nine years has been remarkable and Fiji has a smart population that can make good decisions.
