The Fiji Pine Limited is currently undertaking a project to rebuild the Tropik Sawmill in Lautoka.

This was revealed by Chief Executive Officer Faiz Khan while speaking at the AG’s Conference in Natadola.

Khan also confirms that they have completely stopped all operation at the Tropik Sawmill and are working towards its development.

While speaking Khan says procurement is the most important area that a company should work on to prevent the risk of losing their business.

Khan says this was evident with the Tropik Sawmill as it was closed down but there are still shipment coming into the country from Sweden, New Zealand and other countries.

He says procurement is vital to deliver a project on a timely basis.
