Fiji attends APO Sustainable Productivity Summit

Representatives from the government and the National Training and Productivity Centre attended the first Sustainable Productivity Summit of the Asian Productivity Organization in Tokyo Japan.

Fiji has been a member of the APO from 1984 and has benefitted in terms of exchange and learning on productivity from the Asian member countries.

Employment permanent secretary Salaseini Daunabuna says the summit focuses on technologies and shaping the future of productivity while creating maximum benefits for the economy.

Daunabuna says discussions were held on future transportation, cashless society, food, and sustainable smart towns and smart homes.
