The Fijian Holdings Limited is ready to provide all necessary printing services for the country.
FHL Group Chief Executive Nouzab Fareed says they have attained full ownership of Government Printery Services after four years of negotiation.
Fareed says their investment stands at $11 million – with $6 million paid for purchase of business and $5 million investment for five years.
“We are fairly confident and we should be able to cater the entire business needs in Fiji including 2022. In the next election, we want to print the ballots. Within the next 5-8 years, we should be able to print the Fiji Passport in Fiji. So this is where we heading to.”
The Fijian Holdings Limited has partnered with Aitken Spence who will be working with a Sri Lankan company Serendib Investment to provide this service.
The government has also given a one-year contract to Serendib Investment to carry out all government printery work.
