The Fiji Elections Office has confirmed that it will be re-conducting the election for the position of General Secretary of the National Union of Hospitality, Catering and Tourism Industries Employees.

The Union has submitted a list of 2592 members to the FEO but after the verification process FEO confirmed 1984 valid financial members in the union.

FEO reveals that the way election was previously run by the union was not right given the incorrect number of members.

The Election for the Union will be conducted over two days on the 6th and the 7th of October respectively in 24 different hotels.
