Chinese movies will be expected to start airing on FBC TV soon

This comes after a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Chinese Ambassador Huang Yong and FBC Chief Executive Officer Riyaz Sayed Khaiyum this afternoon.

CCTV 6 – a china movie channel will be providing twenty-six movies free of charge to FBC TV.

CEO Riyaz Sayed-Khaiyum says it will be received very well with the growing number of Chinese communities in the country.

Ambassador Huang adds the movies will give a better understanding of China’s culture, its history and it’s present state of affairs.

The movies will be subtitled in English and will be scheduled in International movie night’s segments on Saturday nights.
