Family mourn their son

The family of the 29-year-old Sunia Baleisamabula, who was found dead in a Nausori nightclub over the weekend, is today mourning his passing.

Baleisamabula came from his village in Namacu, Koro in Lomaiviti to help his uncle on his family plantation in Rewa.

According to the village headman, Oveti Koroitavalena, his nephew went to watch a rugby match in the Burebasaga ground and later joined some youths who were going to the nightclub on Saturday night.

The family were shocked to hear the news of his death on Sunday.

The parents of the deceased will be in Lomanikoro to farewell their second child later this week.

A 39-year-old suspect who is alleged to have caused the victim’s death remains in custody.
