A total of six hundred sponsored individuals will be in Suva next week for the National Women’s Expo.
With the theme “Connecting Women to Markets – Make It Happen’, the 3 day expo will be held from Wednesday at the Vodafone Arena and will be officially opened by the Prime Minister Rear Admiral Voreqe Bainimarama.
A total sponsorship of over a hundred and sixty thousand dollars will cover accommodation and transportation facilitation for all participants for the three day expo.
There will be 156 participants from the Central Division representing Namosi, Serua, Beqa, Naitasiri, Rewa, Tailevu and the Suva-Nausori corridor.
From the Northern Division: 120 participants sponsored by UNDP, representing Cakaudrove, Bua and Macuata.*
From the Western Division: 130 participants from Sigatoka, Nadi, Lautoka, Ba, Rakiraki and Tavua.
And finally from the Easter Division: a total of 194 participants representing Rotuma, Levuka, Lauy Group and the Lomaiviti Group.
