A total of 168 kindergartens have been established in Fiji through the Fiji Kinde Project.

Founder of Kinde Fiji Ann Cooper says through the project they’ve taught over 2000 children and have trained over 360 teachers.

Cooper says early childhood education is vital as it lays the foundation for every child’s education.

She adds the project also includes Bible study, devotional time and prayer.

“Kinde is the tool of which we can come and share bible stories or any other songs that are perhaps already happening in the villages from the teachers but we want to add to that.”

Fiji Kinde Project is a Non-Governmental Organization that prepares children with the skills necessary for entering elementary school level.
