Fiji Roads Authority Chief Executive Jonathan Moore says some drivers need to re-look at the way they drive on our roads.

A car is a dangerous weapon if you are driving it badly. A bus is ten to fifteen times heavier than a car. The momentum to stop a bus in full flight is very difficult. The consequences of the bus getting out of control are far greater than a car.

Moore says in many cases when an accident occurs, FRA property like bus shelters, guard rails, and road signs are also damaged.

He says for everyone’s safety some drivers need to change their attitude.
